The PolitiFi market capitalization has bounced up by 15%, standing at $853 million at press time, data from CoinGecko reveals. On the contrary, memes and the AI sector are up 10% and 5%, respectively.
Trump coins including MAGA, MAGA Hat and Dolan Tremp have shown outsized growth.
A new PolitiFi project – FreeDum Fighters (DUM) – is also in high demand during its ongoing presale, having already raised over $340k. The project has even appealed to smart money investors, with some calling it one of the best cryptos to buy now.
PolitiFi Coins Skyrocket, Outperform Memes and AI
The PolitiFi sector is a subsection of the meme coin space. However, PolitiFi coins are outperforming traditional meme coins after the latest Bitcoin rally.
The Bitcoin price hit $72k on Tuesday as the US Presidential Election draws near.
The market is largely pricing in a Donald Trump victory on November 5th. For instance, Trump has 66% odds of victory, according to Polymarket election bettors.
In fact, experts believe that this week’s Bitcoin price rally is largely due to Trump’s favourable chances of winning the White House next week.
Unsurprisingly, Trump coins are also soaring. For instance, the MAGA Hat price is up by 22% today on Tuesday and is now trading at $0.00026 with a market capitalization of $110 million. The meme coin is up by 80% over the past week and nearly 300% over the past month.
MAGA Hat appears poised to flip MAGA (TRUMP), which is trading at $4.18 after rallying by 31% over the past week.
A micro-cap project – Doland Tremp (TREMP) – is also showing impressive strength, rallying by 10% today and 150% over the past weeks.
Unsurprisingly, Kamala Horris (KAMA) – a PolitiFi project inspired by Vice President Kamala Harris – is underperforming Trump coins. Harris is neither the favoured candidate for the crypto investors nor is she leading the race in their minds.
The KAMA price is down by 2% today and 8% over the past month.
The Trump coins will soar and push towards new all-time highs in the event of a Trump victory. However, their hyperpartisan nature does pose a key risk.
Contrary to Polymarket, most polls are still showing the race for the White House to be a dead heat. Both Nate Silver and FiveThirtyEight’s model show the race to be a coin toss, with even a slight edge to Harris.
If the Democrat does end up securing the presidency on November 5th, the aforementioned Trump coins will plummet.
Is FreeDum Fighters The Best Crypto To Buy Now?
Unlike the aforementioned projects, FreeDum Fighters (DUM) is a non-partisan meme coin. Moreover, it offers an escape from the ugliness of real-world politics and presents a fun twist on the elections.
FreeDum Fighters is seeking to simulate the race in an alternate, highly mechanized universe.
Two middle-class kids. One, a justice seeking robocop. The other a cyborg with glorious hair. Together, MAGATRON and I are running a campaign for all Americans—from red states to blue states, from the heartland to the coasts. When elected, we will govern on behalf of… pic.twitter.com/rkNucG9kGd

DUM holders will have the option to cast their vote between the two champions – the patriotic MAGATRON and the hunter of injustice, KAMACOP 9000. They simply need to stake their coins in either staking pool and earn attractive passive income in exchange.
Both the MAGATRON and KAMACOP staking pools offer a different reward rate, which is subject to change depending upon the number of coins staked in each.
DUM holders can also participate in the weekly debates that will be organized on the project’s X account. The winning side will earn a secret airdrop every week.
This fun and humorous twist on the US elections has certainly impressed prominent crypto investors, with some calling it one of the best crypto to buy now.
Popular influencer ClayBro is eyeing up to 25x returns with his early DUM investment.
